Peter Moroney brings more than 25 years of experience to National Workplace Investigations. Commencing as a member of the NSW Police Force in 1994, Peter has been involved in and managed various criminal and administrative investigations including corruption, fraud and reportable conduct. He is regarded as an expert in these fields and is frequently requested to discuss matters on national television and radio.

He is regarded as an expert in these fields and is frequently requested to discuss matters on national television and radio.
Peter was a member of the NSW Police, Terrorism Investigation Squad from 2002 to 2009. During this time, Peter was responsible for undertaking and managing terrorism investigations. The investigations have required Peter to also conduct investigations jointly with the Australian Federal Police and other international authorities, including intelligence agencies.
In 2008, Peter and his father, Ken Moroney AO APM MA founded Nemesis Consultancy Group and Peter has led the company as the Director, Investigations & Risk. Over the last decade, Nemesis grew rapidly specialising in risk management, online investigations, surveillance and investigations. Recently, the Nemesis suite of capability expanded to include speciality businesses of National Workplace Investigations, Child Safe Specialists Australia (CSSA) and accredited training group – The Australian Institute of Security and Investigation Training (AISIT).
Peter manages a dedicated team of investigators that are well versed in assessing, triaging, undertaking, managing or reviewing workplace related investigations, including reportable conduct, reportable incidents, bullying, harassment, sexual assault, child abuse, fraud, corruption and a range of other investigation requirements. National Workplace Investigations has also been engaged to conduct highly confidential investigations and/or reviews of investigations relating to senior members of the clergy and public officials.
Peter is experienced in conducting investigations that are over-sighted or require liaison with government oversight bodies, such as Independent Commission Against Corruption and the Ombudsman. National Workplace Investigations is experienced in conducting and managing investigations with matters regarding public interest disclosures (PID).
National Workplace Investigations is an approved provider for various Local, State and Federal government panels.
Peter is an Adjunct Lecturer for Charles Sturt University in the fields of Investigation Management and Investigative Interviewing.
Peter has designed and delivered investigations and interview training for Federal and State regulation and compliance investigation agencies.
