Kim Petrovic has been working in the Australian Public Service as a senior Human Resource practitioner and Code of Conduct Investigation Roles for more than 20 years in various Commonwealth Departments. Kim has considerable investigative experience in complex and sensitive workplace investigations including Public Interest Disclosures, as well as fraud related issues; and has delivered in-house training on the APS Code of Conduct. - Recognises the importance of developing, often in collaboration with the client, an allegation that most accurately reflects the matter being investigated yet does not unduly complicate the matter.
- Appreciates the importance of being able to interact and manage support persons and union and legal representatives when conducting investigations and particularly respondent interviews.
- Comprehends the role of an independent investigator and how this is different to the role of a case manager.
