Founded by Ken Moroney AO, APM and Peter Moroney, National Workplace Investigations trades under Nemesis Consultancy Group – a powerhouse in investigative, risk and educational services and with extensive experience in working with government, private and public companies, and religious and educational organisations.

National Workplace Investigations is a dedicated team of investigators that are well versed in assessing, triaging, undertaking, managing or reviewing workplace related investigations, including reportable conduct, reportable incidents, bullying, harassment, sexual assault, child abuse, fraud, corruption and a range of other investigation requirements.

National Workplace Investigations has also been engaged to conduct highly confidential investigations and/or reviews of investigations relating to senior members of the clergy and public officials. It is also an approved provider for various Local, State and Federal government panels.

ken Moroney AO, aPM, MA

Ken Moroney AO APM MA, co-founder of National Workplace Investigations was the NSW Commissioner of Police from 2002 to 2007. He has an extensive track record of 42 years in the Police Force. Ken has been  commended and awarded frequently for his outstanding leadership abilities. With around 20,000 personnel, the NSW Police Force is one of the largest in the world.

Peter Moroney brings more than 25 years of law enforcement and workplace investigations experience to National Workplace Investigations. A member of the NSW Police Force from 1994 – 2011, Peter has been involved in and managed various criminal investigations relating to the offences of terrorism, homicide, child sexual assault, child abuse, drug importation, drug supply, money laundering and corruption.

Jon Sleeman is a qualified lawyer, and Senior Consultant across the Nemesis Consultancy Group’s suite of capability. As manager of the Canberra office, and senior member of the team; Jon is involved in the conduct of workplace misconduct investigations and the design and development of operational procedures and training courses. Jon also assists with client management and business development and facilitation.

Ruth Hudson has more than eight years of experience in private legal practice, specialising in civil litigation. During her time in private legal practice, Ruth occupied the role of Practice Group Leader/ Manager. In addition to managing the professional and clerical staff, in this Ruth had carriage of numerous civil and human rights related matters.

Kim Petrovic has been working in the Australian Public Service as a senior Human Resource practitioner and Code of Conduct Investigation Roles for more than 20 years in various Commonwealth Departments. Kim has considerable investigative experience in complex and sensitive workplace investigations including Public Interest Disclosures, as well as fraud related issues; and has delivered in-house training on the APS Code of Conduct.
